Bret was a strength and conditioning coach at the NFL and college levels before getting into the fitness equipment business.

Bret has a BS in Exercise Science and a Master's degree in Sport Management, both from Slippery Rock University.
was a four year starter and All American cornerback at The Rock
also helped lead them to a PSAC title in 1997.
As Football strength coach from 1998-1999, the Rock won 2 more PSAC titles.
In addition, Bret was an assistant strength coach with the Buffalo Bills in 2000 under Rusty Jones.
has worked for fitness equipment dealers as well as large manufacturers like Nautilus, Stairmaster, and Schwinn.
He started A.P.Ex. because he wanted to provide better service and support after the sale to his customers.
Bret is graduate of Bishop Guilfoyle High School 1994 where he was an ALL State Defensive back and Joel Cohen Blanket award winner.

Bret received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Physical Education, Specialization Exercise Science from SRU in 1998.
