Brent Stechschulte, Manager of Project Engineering, stated, "We go as far as conducting energy audits in an effort to make our facilities as efficient as possible.
Utilities have a huge impact on our bottom line, so we attempt to be as energy conscious as possible."
Not only do they optimize efficiencies, the group must consider a broad range of factors when undertaking a project. This might entail: site selection and keeping traffic flow a priority, determining appropriate sized equipment for the job, support equipment, building size with expandability, choosing of contractors and the list goes on and on.Mr. Stechschulte
remarked, "The important part is tying all of these items together so they are all functioning when we need to start-up the plant."
Even though most of the projects this group undertakes can sometimes run several months, they always get satisfaction for a job well done, when they can hit the start button and move on to the next project.
Project Support Group
The Project Support Group is what some people at MetoKote
refer to as the "Fire Brigade."Always ready and willing to go where needed, this department is where efficiencies in the production arena get a boost.
