Brenda Grusecki, Family Service Board Vice Chair, thought dollhouses would make an ideal auction item to carry out the theme of this year's benefit, "Open the Door to Mental Health," when the communities' Realtors will be honored with the agency's 2004 Community Partnership Award.

"I also hoped this project might provide an opportunity to develop a meaningful partnership between the community and our high school, one in which all of us would be able to give and to gain together in a unique and creative way," said Ms. Grusecki, who approached former colleagues at OPRFHS where she had retired as head of the English Division after teaching there for 34 years.
"But I had no idea how complicated finding suitable dollhouses could be," Ms. Grusecki said.
