Bonnie Cullum Producing Artistic Director

has done so for more than 20 years.
She is the co-founder and Producing Artistic Director of VORTEX Repertory Company, an alternative theatre in Austin, Texas, creating and presenting more than 250 innovative productions since 1988.
She holds an MFA in Directing from the University of Texas and a BA in Theatre from the University of Kansas.
has also traveled and studied extensively in England, Europe, and Turkey.
With a strong background in music, acting, and dance, as well as more than 20 years of directing experience, Cullum's specialty is bringing experimental plays, operas, and musicals to life.
As a director, she has illuminated more than 50 world premieres including extraordinary epic operas, musicals, plays, and collaborative ritual theatre works.
