Bobby Digi was born in Brooklyn, and raised in the Clifton section of Staten Island.
He attended The College of Staten Island where he graduated with a BS in Finance, Economics, Accounting & Business Management.
While attending CSI, Bobby started a home improvement company to pay for college while working full-time at the Staten Island Hospital.
There he earned the trust of the doctors who hired him to maintain their vacation homes.
This experience helped to develop his knowledge of property management.

saw an opportunity to invest in Japan by starting a production company, Thello Entertainment Inc.
, the first African American owned entertainment label established in Tokyo.
After spending seven years in Japan, he
returned to Staten Island
saw the need for a live music performance lounge and an opportunity to create Notes Lounge.
The lounge became an instant success.
As an astute businessman he
began to recognize island youth needed more mentoring and guidance.
So Bobby started Island Voice in 2007, a non-profit created to connect the youth to the community through cultural empowerment and economic development.
Since 2007, Island Voice Inc.
has hosted an annual youth empowerment summit at Wagner College
, youth leadership workshops and has uncovered many employment opportunities for its followers.
North Shore Business Association
When Super storm Sandy hit Staten Island, Bobby
and several of his
neighboring businesses along the Bay Street corridor were severely impacted by water damage.
They asked him to advocate on their behalf, and he created the North Shore Business Association to provide services, information and support for local businesses in the area. community through cultural empowerment and economic development.

The Youth Empowerment Summit was created to give young people an opportunity to have a voice on issues, discussing them with local professionals, their peers and community leaders with organizations
