Bob Shallow is senior vice president, Product Sales & Marketing for Rovi Corporation where he is responsible for developing comprehensive programs for customers across the digital entertainment ecosystem that enable them to provide a range of compelling video and multi-screen products and services to consumers. Bob joined Rovi from Gemstar-TV Guide International, which Rovi acquired in 2008. While at Gemstar, Bob held the position of Vice President and General Manager, Mobile Entertainment Group. While there, he was responsible for the leadership, development and day to day management of the mobile group, including driving growth and developing partner and customer relationships. Prior to this, Bob was director of multimedia experiences for Nokia's multimedia business group where he specialized in the areas of digital media technology and regulation. He also helped launch a number of consumer applications in the domains of mobile internet and video and broadcast TV, among others. Previous to this position at Nokia, Bob was director of channel sales and development for Nokia's music and rich media group, where he was involved in marketing and merchandising. Prior to Nokia, he served as vice president of production ventures & services for TWI Interactive, and vice president of production at Trans World International. Bob graduated with a B.A. in Communications from Pepperdine University.
