Bob Pritchett is seeking the Illinois Green Party's nomination for Lt. Governor. He is a public school educator who retired in 2012 as superintendent and elementary principal at South Fork School District in Kincaid after 24 years of credible service. Mr. Pritchett taught business, computer applications, and mathematics at Meredosia-Chambersburg Junior-Senior High School and was the regional career and technical director at Delabar Vocational Education System that served school districts in Knox, Henderson, and Warren Counties.

Bob earned his M.S and Ed. S. in Educational Leadership from Western Illinois University. He served on the Warren County Junior Achievement board, Workforce Development board, past president of the Roseville Chamber of Commerce, Carl Sandburg College career committees, and Paul Harris Fellow with the Monmouth Rotary Club.
Bob and Claire have been married for 29 years and live in Roseville. Bob Pritchett was born in Eldorado, Illinois to a family of farmers and educators. The family migrated to Champaign County where his father and mother taught at Unit 7 Schools in Tolono and Bob graduated from Unity High School. Pritchett served four years in the United States Navy in secure communications for the Supreme Allied Command Atlantic in Norfolk, Virginia.
Claire and Bob belong to the Environmental Defense Fund, Rainforest Alliance, Natural Resources Defense Council, and the Arbor Day Foundation.

Pritchett, of Roseville, Ill., served four years in the Navy, working with secure communications at the Supreme Allied Command Atlantic in Norfolk, Va.He was a business, computer and mathematics instructor at Meredosia-Chambersburg schools for seven years prior to his appointment at Delabar Vocational.
Pritchett earned a master's degree in educational administration and an educational specialist degree for superintendent certification at Western Illinois University.He is president of the Roseville Chamber of Commerce, Junior Achievement board, Monmouth Rotary Foundation and several advisory committees for Carl Sandburg College.

Robert (Bob) Eugene Pritchett, 83, was born on July 27, 1929, in Wolfe, Oklahoma, and died on Friday, November 2, 2012, at his home in Waco, Texas. Funeral Services will be 2PM Monday November 5, 2012 at Grace Gardens Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jim Gray officiating. Interment will follow at Waco Memorial Park Cemetery.

Robert grew up in the oil patch of the Phillips Petroleum Company Naval Reserve in the Osage Hills of Oklahoma. He went to Naval Reserve Elementary School near Fairfax, Oklahoma, and went on to graduate from Fairfax High School in 1947. Upon high school graduation,Robert went to Draughon's Business School in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and upon completionwas employedfrom 1948 to 1985 at Phillips Petroleum Company in Bartlesville, Oklahoma,becoming a Joint Interest Auditor with "E&P," Exploration and Production. He served two years active duty with the United States Navy during the Korean War. He was an active member at First Baptist Churchin Bartlesville, Oklahoma, for 52 years. Robert married his loving wife and best friend, Wilma Jean Martin, on September 1, 1950.
Robert and Wilma retired to Waco, Texas, in 2000, to be close to their children and grandsons.
The family would like to thank Providence Hospice for their kind care of Bob especially Gay Fox, Cindy Fraiser, Deborah Simcox, Barry Miller, Brenda Chaney, and Dr. Michael Jahrmarkt, as well as all the staff that helped in so many ways.
The family would also like to thank DeAnn Martin of Nurses Unlimited for her tireless care of Bob.
