Bob Nunnally has been a well-known personality in Central Ohio for more than 25 years in TV and radio.
He is the morning meteorologist on NBC 4 Today and NBC 4 Midday. Bob, who is a member of the National Weather Association, received the certificate of broadcast meteorology from Mississippi State University, after extensive course work and a training workshop in Birmingham, Ala.
Nunnally has also served as an entertainment reporter for the station, screening and reviewing new movies as well as conducting satellite interviews with many television and movie stars.
Bob broadcasts live weather and broadcasts from many Central Ohio events throughout the year. Before becoming a full-time employee at NBC 4, he was the first 10 O'Clock weathercaster in Columbus on the WB 53 Ten O'Clock News from 1994 until the newscast ended in 1997. Before that, he was a substitute weathercaster for NBC 4.
Nunnally was the afternoon personality at Sunny 95 (WSNY-FM) radio for 14 years beginning in 1983. He also served as station assistant program director and music director at various times. He served in the same capacity from 1977 until 1983 at WNCI, where he also co-hosted a public affairs program entitled "FYI: Columbus," which spotlighted community events and organizations.
Nunnally has served on the boards of Life Care Alliance, the North Columbus YMCA and the Arthritis Foundation, who honored him for hosting their telethon, the Jingle Bell Run and various other projects throughout the years.
He has hosted events for SERTOMA, MDA, the Heart Association, The Cancer Society, The Columbus Zoo, CODA, The Central Ohio Lung Association, Very Special Arts, United Cerebral Palsy, The Children's Hospital Foundation and others.
Bob enjoys going out to elementary schools and talking to the students about staying in school and weather. He also enjoys going to D.A.R.E. functions and graduations.
Nunnally, whose hometown is Marion, resides in Westerville, with Sammie, the wiener dog, and Scully the cat (named for Dana on the X-Files).
He reads a lot and writes poetry, short stories and is working on a novel.

Temperatures will drop after a cold front rolls through Thursday morning, said NBC 4 Meteorologist Bob Nunnally.He predicted the high temperature would reach only 63 degrees Thursday afternoon, but said morning rains would dissipate and the sun would break through the clouds to warm organizers putting the final touches on their booths that afternoon.
Friday morning will break at a chilly 43 degrees, but should warm up to around 68 degrees in the afternoon.Competitors in the truck and tractor pull at 7 p.m. that night will race under partly cloudy skies.
Eager crowds will enjoy lovely weather on Saturday, and the junior fair king and queen should be crowned at 9 a.m. under a full sun at the Rotary Pavilion.
"It should be pretty nice on Saturday, about 75 degrees and a lot of sunshine," Nunnally said.
Clouds will dot the sky again on Sunday, when the high should reach about 78 degrees.Nunnally expected rain Sunday evening.
