.One of Bob's
most memorable experiences as a young adult was helping to form a food co-op in Cambridge, Mass., in 1971.At that time he
was also active in the anti-war movement, and other social justice issues.Bob
moved to Philadelphia in 1975 and became a steelworker.He
was active in the union and in the Logan community where he
lived until he
move to Mt. Airy in 1993.He joined the Co-op in 1991, the Membership Committee in 1998, and the Diversity and Outreach Committee in 1999, was appointed At-large Director to the Board in January 2000, served as Vice President 2000-2002, and President 2002-2006.In May 2006 he began his final year on the Board as Immediate Past President.
