Forest Service and BLM firefighters got help from three helicopters, a hotshot crew, two engine crews and others. "We would like to emphasize that the grass throughout the Valley is very dry," Narus said. Firefighters are trying to put out a fire burning on approximately 75 acres of Bureau of Land Management Land near Lucky Peak, said BLM fire mitigation specialist Bob Narus. The "Lucky" fire, as crews are calling it, was started by a charcoal cooking fire, Narus said. Crews have estimated a 7 p.m. containment time for the fire.
