Bob Herzog - Anchor / Reporter
Bob Herzog is a Cincinnati guy. More specifically, he's a proud West Side guy. Bob joined the Local 12 team at the end of 2005 and since then has worn many hats at the station. He currently anchors the 7am hour of Good Morning Cincinnati on Local 12.2 The CW Cincinnati and serves as Traffic Reporter during the earlier hours of GMC on Local 12. The offbeat segment called The Cooler also gets the Bob treatment each day. And the notorious tradition known as Dance Party Friday, for better or worse, was Bob's creation.
As a hometown boy, Bob takes special pride in getting involved in community events. From the Rusty Ball and the Delhi Skirt Game to the Freestore Foodbank's Hunger Walk and the JDRF Walk to Cure Diabetes, Bob is always inspired to see neighbors helping neighbors and friends helping friends. He attended Oak Hills High School and Xavier University where he majored in Communications: Electronic Media and minored in Natural Sciences. He also obtained a law degree from Chase College of Law at Northern Kentucky University.
Bob loves all kinds of music and movies. He has a passion for basketball. But his number one hobby is spending time with his wife and four children.

WKRC's Bob Herzog ...

WKRC's Bob Herzog changed "Let it Go," sung by Princess Elsa in the animated movie "Frozen," to "Just Don't Go" to reference the winter weather.
As images of cars skidding on ice and traffic conditions play, Herzog dramatically sings lines like: "I must share what dispatchers say, all the traction's gone. School's closed or at least they're on a delay."
A YouTube video of Friday's performance has a half-million views, and media outlets nationwide have written about it.
The parody is part of Herzog's "Dance Party Fridays."
