Organist Bob Henstein came to Aberdeen in 2004 for the funeral of his uncle, Carl Nolte, at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church.

was asked by the family to play something in his
uncle's memory at the funeral.

, who lives in Cottage Grove, Minn.
They have invited Henstein back to present an organ workshop and concert this weekend.Henstein will be the guest clinician for an organ workshop Sunday at 2 p.m.
The workshop is titled, "Is Anyone Sitting on the Organ Bench?"The church says it will be an "exciting music experience in organ music."Henstein will be the guest organist at the 8:30 a.m. traditional worship service Sunday.
At 7 p.m. Sunday, the church will present a concert/worship service, featuring the Good Shepherd vocal and handbell choirs and congregational singing, all accompanied by Henstein
on the organ.
...Henstein is currently staff musician at Northfield Methodist Church in Northfield, Minn.He received a bachelor's degree in performance from Concordia College in Moorhead, Minn., with additional study at the master's level at Kent State University in Kent, Ohio.He
has had numerous years of private study with prominent organists.Henstein
has been involved in church music for more than 20 years.He has served at numerous congregations, including Lutheran, Methodist, Catholic, Baptist and Congregational.
