Estep, 72, a resident of Hwy. 36 East, Cynthiana, died Monday, Jan. 28, 2002, at Harrison Memorial Hospital.He was born in Knott County, Dec. 25, 1929, to the late Bartee and Faye Combs Estep.He was a retired Chevron Distributor, a member of First United Methodist Church of Cynthiana, was a former state fire marshal, a 32nd degree Mason of the St. Andrews Lodge 18, and president of the Cynthiana Country Club.Survivors include: his wife, Patricia Hampton Estep; three daughters and sons-in-law, Betty Faye and Andy Peak and Nancy Lee and Gary Whitaker, all of Cynthiana, and Deborah Ann and Guy Howie of Ocala, Fla.; six grandchildren, Robert W. Peak, Matthew E. Peak, Adam C. Peak, Mandy Howie, Kyle Howie, and Jackie Howie.Funeral services will be held Friday, Feb. 1 at 11 a.m. at Ware Funeral Home by Bro.
