He is also co-founder of AGRODEV (Agricultural Growers Resource Organization Developing Economic Viability) a Kenyan-based NGO. Blake spends his time working with companies and NGOs to help educate consumers and producers on sustainable rural development. He presents to coffee farmers and consumers around the world on resource economics. Blake was born in Vancouver and holds a Bachelor of Science in global resource systems from the Faculty of Agricultural Science at UBC. He also holds a master's in watershed management from the Institute for Resources, Environment and Sustainability at UBC. Blake has studied and worked in Canada, Sweden, Japan, Uganda, Kenya, Costa Rica, Mexico and the USA.
