"Diversity in the Church: Our Struggle with Homosexuality"
A recent editorial in The Lutheran magazine
was entitled: "Dealing with Tough Issues."It said: "we dare not forget who we are - God's People - as we seek to handle tough issues and have varying opinions. -- Failing this conviction, we listen to each other as competitors seeking victory, not as partners in a search for truth. --The heart of Christian discernment isn't debate - but a prayerful, communal listening to Scripture, tradition and each other. -- We dare not forget who we are - children of God's delight!"
As we seek careful discernment of God's will - in the Spirit of Christ - an information panel will offer insight.
