Billy Strynkowski Joins Restaurant Associates as Director of Wellness/Business Excellence
Award-Winning, Nationally Acclaimed Chef Joins in New Management Position
New York (June 28, 2013) - Ed Sirhal, president of Restaurant Associates is pleased to announce that Billy Strynkowski, most recently the executive chef for Cooking Light Magazine has joined the company as Director of Wellness/Business Excellence, a newly created position for the organization.
Chef Billy, as he is commonly known from his role at Cooking Light Magazine, is a regular guest on CNN and has appeared on dozens of other TV shows including ABC's The View and CBS's Good Morning America as the face of Cooking Light.
A culinary graduate of Johnson and Wales University in Providence, Rhode Island, Chef Billy had been a member of the Cooking Light team since 2005.
Prior to his position at Cooking Light, Chef Billy worked for Restaurant Associates for 14 years at Goldman Sachs and Time Inc. and as the executive sous chef at Tropica Restaurant at the MetLife Building in NYC.
Since 2005, Cooking Light readers have enjoyed a monthly helping of Chef Billy with his column "Kitchen Tips with Chef Billy.
