Billy Teninty (International Aid) just concluded the first four weeks
of his MET and HTM training in Ghana. Please continue to pray for the MET and HTM students, for safety for all participants and faculty, and for all involved in the MET program. Pray also for Billy as he is away from home during this extended time.

Billy joined the EWH team in fall 2009. He directed International Aid's successful Medical Equipment Training (MET) program in developing nations for over a decade and is a certified biomedical equipment technician by the Association for the Advancement of Medical Instrumentation (AAMI). Billy is acutely aware of the problems overseas hospitals face with medical equipment, having traveled extensively in developing countries to install and repair medical and x-ray equipment. He has first hand experience training nationals from Albania, Cameroon, Dem. Republic of Congo, Ethiopia, Ghana, Honduras, India, Indonesia, Kenya, Kosovo, Liberia, Madagascar, Nepal, Nigeria, Philippines, Sierra Leone, Togo, Uganda and Zimbabwe.

Billy Teninty of International Aid handled the invitations of volunteers from University of Michigan and other volunteer foreign instructors.
Also on the third week of February 2009, Billy Teninty confirmed his availability to teach Biomed Computer Applications. With no other confirmations from foreign volunteer instructors and with the proposal of Ricarte Fontanilla, a final training venue arrangements and schedules were finalized. Training venues were divided into two between Lorma Colleges and UPHSL. Milton Amayun, Alan Talens, Billy Teninty, and Marivic Claveria representing International Aid also joined the meeting. Graduation speakers were Robert Sears, Romeo Batino and Billy Teninty who delivered congratulatory and challenging messages to the completers. International volunteer Billy Teninty, MET Director of International Aid, taught for one week.

Billy Teninty, C.B.E.T., has been appointed as the EWH Biomedical Engineering Training Coordinator. He comes to us from International Aid, where he worked for 28 years.
