New board members are Nancy Christopherson, Bill Startup, Lainie Luse and Terri Curran.
William Thomas Startup, III is president and CEO of Cumberland County Bank. Startup received a graduate degree in bank management from the University of Virginia's Colgate-Darden Business School and is also a graduate of the Tennessee School of Banking at Vanderbilt University. Startup was employed by Third National Bank (now SunTrust), Citizens, and Southern National Bank (now Bank of America) before assuming his current duties with Cumberland County Bank in 1986. He has served as an official with many business and civic organizations and is a past chairman of the board of directors of the Cumberland County Playhouse. Startup has also served as chairman of the Crossville-Cumberland County Chamber of Commerce. With over 40 years of banking experience, Startup is a tremendous addition to the Downtown Crossville, Inc. organization.
