Pitching Stats In 1984 - Bill won his first World Series Championship as a player with the Detroit Tigers. In 1997 - Bill won his second World Series Championship as a scout for the Florida Marlins. In 2005 - Bill won his third World Series Championship as a scout and special assistant to the general manager, Ken Williams, for the Chicago Whitesox. Bill Scherrer was inducted into the Greater Buffalo Hall of Fame.
