Bill has been certified as a mediator by the Superior Court of Delaware (basic and advanced training). He is a member of the Mediation Panel of the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware. In addition, he is a member of the Panel of Distinguished Neutrals of CPR: International Institute for Conflict Prevention & Resolution.
Bill is a past president of the Delaware State Bar Association. He is a member of the Board of Bar Examiners of the Delaware Supreme Court. He serves in leadership positions with the American Bar Association, and he is Bar Delegate to the ABA House of Delegates. He is Immediate Past President of the American Judicature Society.
Bill is a past member of the Delaware State Human Relations Commission, having served for twenty-four years by gubernatorial appointment. He is also a former co-chair of the firm’s Diversity Committee.
