...During the last three summers the Alhambra Orchestra has presented free Mozart opera performances for children and adults in conjunction with Reunite Opera under its founder Dr. Beverly Coulter, Director of Opera and Musical Theater at Barry University.Dr. Coulter has appeared as Norina in Donizetti's Don Pasquale, Musetta in Puccini's La Boheme, and was the soprano soloist at Carnegie Hall in the 2003 world premiere of Imant Raminish's Symphony of Psalms.
The famous two Duetinnos ("Cinque,dieci" and "Se a caso madama la notte ti chiama") in Act I between Figaro (Hugo Marcos) and Susanna (Coulter) were handled with dramatic finesse even if the exchanges were not always letter perfect in terms of pitch and volume.
