Manager of Healthcare Volunteers
has more than 30 years in volunteer service and administration.
Betty started her career as a volunteer with the St. Edward Mercy Medical Center Auxiliary in Fort Smith, Ark.
She served as auxiliary president and auxiliary gift shop manager before taking on the responsibility of volunteer director of the Medical Center's Psychiatric Hospital.
After a family move to Maryland, Betty became the first director of volunteer services for Mercy Medical Center in Baltimore, Md.

Betty has also been employed by the Salvation Army in Omaha, Neb.
She began her work at Catholic Charities Hospice in 2001.
The Hospice Volunteer Program has grown to include more than 65 volunteers serving in patient care, bereavement, special projects and as office helpers and 11 th Hour volunteers.
In 2006, she became manager of healthcare volunteers, which also includes the Friendly Visitor Programs in Topeka, Leavenworth and Kansas City.
