Ms. Gibson joined New York Blood Center in 2012 with over 25 years of executive leadership experience in financial services, energy, and manufacturing industries.
Prior to joining NYBC, she was SVP of Corporate Financial Planning and Analysis at TIAA-CREF where she oversaw and set the strategic direction for financial management and business planning, including enterprise-wide budgeting and forecasting, the three-year business plan, expense management and cost allocations, and Board and Executive reporting and analytics.
Prior to these roles, Ms. Gibson was SVP of Global Finance Operations at Bank of America where she was responsible for directing the financial processes and applications for general accounting operations, accounts payable, order-to-pay, fixed assets, and management information.
drove the creation of a three-year multi-generational roadmap and business case for the finance transformation of business processes, management reporting, and technology capabilities.
In addition, Ms. Gibson held leadership positions at Wells Fargo/Wachovia/First Union, People's Bank, and Exxon.
