with 25 years of food and beverage experience in the restaurant and food manufacturing fields, including more than ten years as a successful independent consultant.A proponent of Culinology (a marriage of culinary arts and food technology), he
will contribute both solid expertise and innovative ideas in the realm of flavors, recipes and new product development.
Bert is an active member of the Research Chef Association
(RCA) and of the Institute of Food Technologists
(IFT).He is the former Director of Food Service Sales & Marketing at Wynn Starr Flavors, Inc., and has served as a marketing and sales consultant to Zizzi & Associates, Network Inc., and Health Systems Research.Bert holds a B.A. in Economics and an M.B.A. in Finance from Fairleigh Dickinson University, and has continued his studies at the Culinary Institute of America.
