Durack’s Managing Director, Bert Beevers said that some of the region’s largest employers such as the Geraldton Iron Ore Alliance will be engaging in the Expo as a sustainable approach to managing their future workforce development and recruitment strategy.
"With the region expecting a major skills shortage in the next five years, the Expo provides a much needed vehicle for Mid West employers to promote their career opportunities and the pathways to achieve them," said Mr Beevers
Visitors can access a variety of career information from potential employers, job service providers and engage in highly visual and interactive displays during the Expo which can show them pathways to their dream job or career aspiration.
The aim of the Expo is to promote local career and training options so that our community’s next generation of students will stay and help build a vibrant Mid West," said Mr Beevers
