Mr. Lind has extensive international financial market and consulting experience in developed and emerging markets. His private investment activities are conducted across a range of markets including hedge funds and private equity. He has acted as a consultant for a number of major clients including N M Rothschild and Sons, Prudential Insurance Company, Deutsche Bank, Dow Jones Markets, Nova Ljubljanska Banka, the Russian Finance Ministry, The Commonwealth Secretariat, the EBRD and the Central Bank of Ghana. Mr. Lind has served as a non-executive Director of the London International Financial Futures Exchange (LIFFE), NLB Bank (New York) Brady PLC (risk management and trading software) and The Atrium Group Limited (Video distributions software). As a founding shareholder, he was a Director and first Chairman of Fidelity Bank Ltd, Accra, Ghana. He is a member of the Securities Institute and The Worshipful Company of International Bankers. Mr. Lind's previous executive positions in London and New York have included: National Westminster Bank plc (Director of Treasury and Foreign Exchange), Midland Bank Group (Executive VP and Treasurer based in NY then Head of Global Fixed Income and Market Risk Management based in London), Credit Industriel et Commercial (SVP and Treasurer) and Merrill Lynch (Head of International Money Markets). Mr. Lind earned a PhD (Honorary) from Schiller International University, an MBA from Columbia University Business School in International Business and a BA in Anthropology from Brandeis University.

Bernard Lind was educated in the US at Brandeis University (BA) and Columbia University (MBA). He began his career at Merrill Lynch and Company in New York as a stockbroker before joining their Government Securities Department. Recruited to help start the New York Branch of the French Bank Credit Industriel et Commercial during his ten years with them he established CIC as one of the most innovative and successful foreign banks in the US financial market. He moved to the New York branch of Midland Bank as Executive Vice President where he participated in the disposition of the Crocker Bank and chaired the funds management company created to invest the sale proceeds. At the end of 1986 he moved to London to head the Midland Bank Fixed Income Division at the time of "big bang" encompassing gilts, eurobonds, interest rate derivatives, futures options and proprietary trading in debt and equities. In 1989 he was appointed to the newly created post of Director of Group Market Risk where he implemented the first comprehensive risk management system for the Midland Bank Group. In 1990 he moved to the National Westminster Bank as Director of Group Treasury responsible for its world-wide money market and foreign exchange business. Deputy Chairman of NatWest Futures he negotiated the acquisition of a US broker and was an elected member of the Board of Liffe serving on its finance and product strategy committees. Established himself as a consultant in 1992 focusing on the financial services sector where clients have included Dow Jones Markets, the Lawson Mardon Group, the Prudential Corporation, the Central Bank of Ghana The European Bank (EBRD) and the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation (FIDP program). He is currently a non-executive director of Brady Plc (a risk management software developer). Past directorships have included Samuel Montagu and Company Limited, NatWest Capital Markets Ltd, Midland America Corp. and National Westminster Bank (France) SA. He also held memberships on several major futures exchanges including the Chicago Board of Trade and the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. A dual UK/US citizen, he is a member of The Securities Institute and a Freeman of the City of London and Liveryman and a member of the Worshipful Company of Information Technologists..
