teacher of the year at USC

student body.He also served on the faculty at the University of Arizona and was a visiting professor at Harvard Business School. Bernie
has been ranked as one of the top five marketing scholars based on both the number of publications as well as citation analysis in the most highly regarded marketing journals.He
has been awarded the Alpha Kappa Psi "best paper" award (twice) and JAMS best-paper award.He
has also received the Jagdish Sheth award for long term contributions to the discipline of marketing.His
research is centered on how to build customer driven companies, branding, sales force management, and e-commerce.His has served on the review boards of the Journal of Marketing, Journal of Marketing Research, and several other journals.He

Bernie's executive development experience has involved a broad array of companies from such industries as telecommunications, insurance, construction, semi-conductors, media, software, pharmaceuticals, and health care. Bernie holds a B.A. in sociology (magna cum laude) from the University of Massachusetts and a Ph.D. in marketing from the University of Pittsburgh.
