public service experience includes active participation in minority small business and tax advising within the Hispanic community.Before moving to the United States, Ms. Fernandez was a Chartered Accountant in Mexico where she worked for a regional accounting firm.Ms. Fernandez has a master's degree in accounting from North Carolina State University.
