Ben Meador
Emeritus Trustee Ben Meador joined the board after the passing of Dr. Parker Williams in August 2004. Meador was a founding member of the San Jacinto College Foundation and was vice chairman of the Board of Directors in 2002. He was a member of the Chancellor Search Committee in 1995-96 and chaired the same committee in 2003. He also participated in a Resume Fraud Seminar, which was nationally publicized and sponsored by the College. As a trustee, he served as chairman of the board's Policy Committee, a member of both the Continuing Education Advisory and Business Education Advisory committees and made numerous presentations to San Jac business classes. Meador has been a Pasadena Rotarian since 1974 and is a member of the Precinct 8 Harris County advisory board, appointed by Constable Bill Bailey. He retired from the board in May 2011.

Ben Meador, Chairman and CEO
Role: Ben is the chairman and chief executive officer of Meador Staffing Services. He provides leadership for the Meador Staffing Companies.. Tenure: Ben has more than 47 years of experience in the staffing industry. He graduated from Lamar University in 1962 with a BBA in management. Following a brief career as employment manager with Diamond Shamrock Chemical Corporation, he established Meador Staffing Services, Inc. in 1968, originally known as Meador-Brady Personnel Services, Inc. Noteworthy: Ben has been very active in community affairs, serving as president of the Pasadena Chamber of Commerce, acting as a founding member and past chairman of SEED, now known as the Houston Port Alliance, and past chairman of the Pasadena Second Century Corporation. Ben is past president of the Texas Association of Personnel Consultants. He has served as a member of the Board of Trustees at San Jacinto College, a member of the Pasadena Rotary Club, and has been named a Paul Harris Fellow. Ben was recognized as the Citizen of the Year in Pasadena in 1991 and was named Distinguished Alumnus in 2000 by the Pasadena Independent School District. The Texas Association of Personnel Consultants awarded Ben the Norval Locke Award for service to the industry. The network was created by the owners of Meador. In 1986, Darla joined forces with Elaine Romberg, Dick Davidson and Ben Meador to form Inter-City Temporary Association, one of the first networks established for the independently owned staffing services in the United States. Together they set records and watched Meador continue to grow. One of Darla's biggest accomplishments was receiving the Employee of the Year award in 1995, as well as the largest sales award for exceeding $6 million in billings in one year. Role: Pam oversees the review and execution of all contracts for Meador and affiliated companies. Pam's community service led her to receive the Community Service Award by Meador in 2010 and the Employee of the Year Award in 2000. Her interests include: Reach out and Read/BookSpring, Rotary, Impact Austin (a women's giving circle), and Society of Human Resource Management Texas State Council Legislative Director. Role: With her experience in program development, implementation and training, Kathy created an effective safety and health program for Meador, and in her tenure has contributed many loss control programs and procedures to manage cost and reduce the number of reported injuries. Tenure: Kathy joined Meador as risk manager in 1989, when the effectiveness of the Texas workers' compensation claims system was at its lowest and insurance premiums were skyrocketing.
