Battalion Chief Ben Marra
Ben Marra joined the Menlo Park Fire Protection District in 1987 and has risen through the ranks of Firefighter, Driver Operator, Captain, Training Officer and currently holds the position of Battalion Chief.
Chief Marra holds an Associates degree in Fire Technology and a Bachelor's Degree in Education from California State University at Long Beach. He is certified from the California State Fire Marshals Office as a Fire Officer, Rescue Systems 1 & 2 Lead Instructor, Fire Control 3 Lead Instructor and FEMA Lead Instructor.
Chief Marra is a member of California Task Force 3, the FEMA Urban Search and Rescue Team which is sponsored by the Menlo Park Fire District.
