Becky Fauth, Assistant Director Becky Fauth is Assistant Director at the NCB Research Centre. She joined the Centre as Principal Research Officer in 2008. A developmental psychologist by training, Becky has over 10 years experience as a social science researcher conducting policy relevant research and evaluation on children and families, focusing primarily on children growing up in poverty. Her dissertation, "Welcome to the Neighborhood? Long-Term Impacts of Moving to Low-Poverty Neighbor- hoods on Poor Childrens' and Adolescents' Outcomes," focused on a seven-year follow-up of The Yonkers Project . That project studied the effects of the 1985 court-ordered desegregation program in Yonkers, NY. Dr. Fauth was a graduate fellow at NCCF and is currently based at The Work Foundation in London, U.K.

Rebecca is the Project Director of MHFE-2, a randomized, controlled trial of a Healthy Families Massachusetts, and the Co-Principal Investigator of several other program evaluations and needs assessments. Until 2013, Rebecca was Assistant Research Director at the National Children's Bureau (NCB) in London UK where she managed a team of researchers working on a range of policy-relevant evaluations focusing primarily on programs in early years, foster care, and youth development. Rebecca has also worked as a Senior Researcher at The Work Foundation, a work and employment think-tank in London, and a Research Scientist at the National Center for Children and Families at Columbia University. She previously worked directly with children and families in social services. Rebecca holds a PhD in Developmental Psychology and an M.S. in Applied Statistics from Columbia University, and a B.A. in Psychology and Anthropology from the College of the Holy Cross.
