Beatrice Chodosh, M.A., L.P.C., is the Clinical Program Manager of Latino Services at St. Vincent's Behavioral Health Services. She has been managing culturally and linguistically appropriate mental health and substance abuse services for the Latino population of the Greater Bridgeport area since 2002. She also practices as a psychotherapist at her private practice in Norwalk where she provides individual and couple therapy. Ms. Chodosh has been a clinician for over twenty years. Born and raised in Argentina, she immigrated to the United States in 1981. She graduated with Honors from the University of Connecticut and pursued her graduate studies in Community Mental Health at Long Island University. In 2007 Ms. Chodosh organized a Latino Mental Health Summit attended by over 200 professionals from across the state. That same year she was a panelist at a NAMI-CT Latino Mental Health Conference. Ms. Chodosh has also written on Latino Mental Health for several area publications. Ms. Chodosh has been an active community leader Stamford and is committed to improving the quality of life of the Latino population. She has been part of the leadership of the Coalition of Residents and Immigrants in Solidarity (CRISOL), whose mission is to assist the immigrant community in the adaptation and integration to society.
