Beata Balas-Noszczyk graduated from Warsaw University and is a licensed legal advisor.
She is an experienced lawyer in the field of insurance law, commercial law and pension fund law.
She also heads the Department of Insurance and Pension Funds and of Banking and Capital Markets.
Prior to commencing practising law in large law firms, she was the Deputy Director of the Department of the Banking System and Financial Institutions and then the Director of the Insurance Department at the Ministry of Finance, where she was responsible for all supervisory aspects of the insurance sector, as well as for granting permits to insurance companies and drafting related legislation, and also for the supervision and privatization of such insurers as PZU and TUiR Warta.
Before joining Lovells, she was a partner in an international law firm, where she was responsible for insurance and pension law practice.
Beata Balas-Noszczyk was one of the drafters of the Insurance Activity Act and was a Polish representative on the Committee for Insurance Affairs at the OECD and the European Union.
has lectured at international conferences on insurance and pension fund subjects.
She has been an expert advisor to the sub-commission of the Polish Parliament in relation to amendments to the Insurance Activity Act.
