Bart Culver
Owner, Bart's Water Sports Bart was born and raised on Webster Lake in Indiana. Bart is currently a Life Trustee of Indiana Nature Conservancy and serves on the Dean's advisory board of Indiana University Arts and Science. He was formerly on the board of the Indiana State Museum Foundation and K21 Foundation. He and his wife Cinda have three daughters. Bart's interests include Biology and the third world. Bart Culver

NORTH WEBSTER ROOTS - Bart Culver, owner of Bart's Water Sports, was the guest speaker at the annual meeting of the Wawasee Area Conservancy Foundation.
Bart Culver, owner of Barts Water Sports in North Webster, was the guest speaker. He grew up in North Webster and graduated from North Webster High School. Later, he earned a degree in biology from Indiana University. Culver, son of the soon to turn 100 years old Gladys Culver, is actively involved in nature related organizations and has been a part of approximately a dozen conservation projects statewide.

Bart's Water Sports was named Business of the Year with employee Mike Wilson accepting the award for owner Bart Culver, who was out of town. Culver began selling water skis from a rented farm house at the corner of Epworth Forest Road and Ind. 13 in 1972.Today, the company mails 1 million catalogues around the world and has a state-of-the-art distribution center in North Webster. Wilson said Culver met with full-time employees in the late 1980s and seriously considered moving to Bloomington.
