As Chief Marketing Officer at Sidley Austin LLP, Barry oversees business development, marketing and communications strategies across 19 offices spanning the United States, Europe and Asia.
Barry leads a global business development team including practice support, client development, strategic planning, market research, competitive intelligence and analysis and training; a marketing department including events, budgeting and alumni relations; and a communications team including branding, public relations, external, internal and digital communications and graphics and creative services.
Barry also began his career at Sidley where he was a lawyer focused on commercial transactions.

When LexisNexis acquired Interface Software, Barry joined LexisNexis where he served in several roles including the general manager of two subsidiaries, InterAction and Martindale-Hubbell.
Barry left LexisNexis and became the Chief Marketing Officer of Microsystems, a leader in document productivity solutions for major law firms, before returning to Sidley.
