He is a current member of the NYSSCPA's Multistate & Local Taxation Committee, and served as Chairman in prior years.
He was formerly an appointed member of the Commissioner's Advisory Council for both the NYS Department of Taxation & Finance and the NYC Department of Finance.
Working to expand the firm's presence in the New Jersey market, Barry is a member of the NJ Tax Committee and other regional associations.

He has two children, Joshua who graduated with an MBA from Ithaca College and is currently working for WithumSmith+Brown, and daughter Randi, a student at Indiana University.
