Barbara Sanderson is a lecturer in Computing at Carlisle College as well as working as an associate lecturer for the Open University.
has been interested in the impact of ICT on society in general and education in particular since the 1980s; being involved with one of the first Open University
courses to use on line support for students.
career has spanned education in schools, teacher training, adult education and since 1986 has worked in further education where she
has had experience using ICT with a wide range of students from beginners to higher education level; from those aged 16 to 80 and across many academic disciplines.
As ICT has become more widely available she
is interested in the development of more innovative and effective uses of ICT to support all levels of learners.
