Joining Grady (photo below) and Chimney Rock Mayor Barbara Meliski on Groundhog Day were the first graders from local school Invest Collegiate Imagine.
The kids learned how they can become Junior Rangers through NC State Parks, enjoyed an educational program about groundhogs and lined up to pet Grady after he made his 10th annual prediction.
