Pacifican Barbara Arietta appointed as delegate to Democratic State Central Committee Convention

San Mateo County Assemblyman Jerry Hill has recently appointed Pacifican Barbara Arietta as his 19th Assembly District delelgate to the upcoming Democratic State Central Committee Convention, which is to be held in Sacramento during the weekend of April 24-26.
The appointment instills Arietta
, a local Democratic party leader, not only as a delegate to the State Democratic Convention
in April, but also as a member of the State Democratic Central Committee
for the next two years.
Previously Arietta has served on the Executive Board of the State Democratic Central Committee, when she was the top vote getter from the 19th Assembly District several years back.

Democratic party offices included being Chair of the following state party committees: the 6th Senatorial District, the 19th Assembly District and the Presidential Platform Committee, as well as the Publicity Committee
She was Secretary of the Democratic Party's statewide Women's Caucus and a top-fundraiser for the Party's Finance Committee.
helped re-organize the Caliifornia Democratic Party with previous California State Democratic Party Chair, and current Speaker of the House of Representatives, Nancy Pelosi.
Arietta is President of the Pacifica Democrats and is on the Board of Directors of the Pacifica Library Foundation and the Pacifica Historical Society, and Chair of the newly formed Green Building Task Force.
