Barb Van Andel-Gaby

Barb Van Andel-Gaby is a member of the Board of Directors of Alticor, parent company of Amway, one of the worldâ€™s leading direct selling companies.
Van Andel-Gaby is the youngest child of the late Jay Van Andel, who with his lifelong friend and business partner, Rich DeVos, started Amway from their homes in Ada, Michigan.
Van Andel-Gaby is trustee of the Richard and Barbara Gaby Foundation.
In addition to funding several charitable organizations, the Gaby Foundation
founded the Center for Policy Studies
at the Georgia Family Council
Van Andel-Gaby also serves on the board of trustees of the Heritage Foundation in Washington, DC, Board of Advisors for the Arete Scholarship Fund in Atlanta and the Board of Directors of Vive Bio of Norcross, Georgia.
Van Andel-Gaby previously served as vice president of Amway Hotel Corporation and CEO of Peter Island Resorts, an island resort owned by her family.
She retired from this position in 2006.

She is a member of the Georgia Home Education Association, Home School Legal Defense Association and several other home school organizations in Georgia.
She is also a member of Perimeter Church of Atlanta, Georgia.
Born in Grand Rapids, Michigan, Van Andel-Gaby graduated cum laude with a bachelorâ€™s degree from Hope College in Holland, Michigan, and earned her MBA from Indiana University in Bloomington.
Van Andel-Gaby is the sister of Amway Chairman Steve Van Andel.
