Ayanna Smith, founder of YogaSoul, has a BA in Economics, with a minor in Biology from Clark Atlanta University.
She is certified in Yoga Fundamentals and one of her specialties is teaching the developmentally/physically challenged.
Within Special Education, yoga helps strengthen areas of muscle weakness as well as ability to focus and self-soothe.
Regular practice of certain muscle movements will enhance motor skills, build confidence and promote practicing sequential order and following direction.

Ayanna's creative inspiration began early in her
life with dance and music.She
attended some of the areas most renowned dance schools such as, Duke Ellington School of the Arts and Jones Haywood School of Ballet
went on to choreograph dances for local public schools and programs as well as dancing with area companies.She became interested in yoga along with other alternative health methods while earning a degree in Economics.Her
first yoga class was taken 8 years ago as part of her
prenatal exercise regimen.Since then, she
has been practicing yoga and obtained her
certification as an instructor.Combining all of her talents she created YogaSoul, a wellness service that offers a variety of yoga classes, parties and workshops as well as consultation on a healthy lifestyle.
