Assia Grazioli-Venier is a media executive, angel investor and advisor to high-growth tech startups, entertainment companies and venture capital firms. A sought after digital media strategist and consultant to international organizations and leaders, Assia is on the board of directors of Italy's legendary Juventus Football Club. Appointed in 2012, she is the first female and youngest board member to serve in such a role in the 120-year history of the club. Assia is also on the board of advisors of Northzone, one of Europe's leading technology investment partnerships whose portfolio includes Spotify, iZettle, MarketInvoice, Outfittery, Trustpilot, Fyndiq and Qapital. Assia has also been an advisor to Spotify for over five years, where she is involved in global strategic initiatives, which includes creating content and strategic partnerships that enhance the Spotify-user experience. In 2009, Assia founded and served as CEO of Flypaper, a new media and management consultancy representing a select group of artists and connecting them with technology companies, media and fashion brands to create digital content. Earlier in her career, Assia helped pioneer made-for-mobile content through her work at Inventa, a UK-based company owned by Buongiorno. Assia has a BA with Honors from Barnard College, Columbia University in the City of New York, and completed the London Business School's Emerging Leaders Programme. She is an avid athlete and will run her fifth marathon, the April 2016 North Pole Marathon, in support of Augie's Quest an organization that funds research and drug development aimed at ending ALS, Lou Gehrig's disease. Born in Rome and raised in the US., Assia is fluent in four languages and has lived in New York City, London, Milan and Stockholm. She currently lives in Los Angeles with her beloved Havanese Poodle, Teddy. Assia Grazioli-Venier heads Ministry of Sound TV (MoSTV) that she founded in November 2006. MoSTV is the first digital IPTV content provider for dance music entertainment. In less than two years, Assia established Ministry of Sound TV as an industry leader for content syndication and revenue generation.
As Head of MoSTV, Assia manages business development initiatives, marketing activities and content syndication for MoSTV. Her role also comprises business development activities within Ministry of Sound Digital, comprising Digital Radio, Downloads and Mobile. Assia also researches M&A activities, finding opportunities, and implementing contractual relationships. She is also responsible for content syndication, overseeing multi-platform content aggregation, delivery and syndication. Assia began her career as a freelance Editor for independent company Ice Films.
