y professor at Fuller Seminary, Dr. Arch Hart, said: "There are three conditions under which masturbation is clearly wrong or destructive: when it is used to avoid sexual intimacy or punish a partner by satisfying oneself; when it is used to fulfill an addictive urge; and when it is used to foster lust or a desire for others."There are Christian men who find more satisfaction in masturbating than in taking the time to have intimate relations with their wives.

Sharon grew up in South Africa and came to the United States in 1972 with her parents, Dr. Archibald Hart (former Dean of Fuller Graduate School of Psychology) and Kathleen Hart, along with her two sisters, Dr. Catherine Weber (author of 'Unveiling Depression: Female Depression' and 'Secrets of Eve: Female Sexuality') and Sylvia Frejd (author of "My Daily Renewal," speaker, life coach, song writer of 'Renew My Mind' on Kim Hill's Dove Album of the Year 2000 of the same title).

As noted by Dr. Archibald Hart of Fuller Seminary's School of Psychology, we often see these symptoms of stress and overload simply as obstacles to performance and success (or sometimes even a lack of faith).
Then we ignore them, or merely want to get rid of the obstacle. We push on trying to overcome it, without recognizing or accepting the cause. Dr. Hart says, seldom (though predictably) does the disease of over-stress slow the victim (you and me) down - not until the major blow strikes: the ulcer, stroke, heart attack, depression, burnout or moral failure.
