In Calgary, he has worked for 2 terms as a Director at Large with the Martindale Community Association. Since 2010 he has been volunteering with the Wildrose Global Poverty Fund. Furthermore, he has worked with his ethnic community association and religious community associations in Edmonton and Calgary.
