Tony Ventura Tony Ventura, AWS, is one of America's most gifted painters, and as this Featured Artist collection reveals, he moves easily between oils and watercolors. Among his more than 100 awards are the American Watercolor Society's William Church Osborne Memorial Award, three AWS traveling shows, three Silver Medals of Honor from the New Jersey Watercolor Society, a Grumbacher Silver Medal, and the Winsor & Newton Purchase Award. He is a signature member of the American Watercolor Society as well as a member of the Hudson Valley Art Association, the Salmagundi Club, the Knickerbocker Artists (signature member), the Garden State Watercolor Society, and the New Jersey Watercolor Society, which he served as president. Tony maintains a studio-gallery in Neptune, N.J., where he lives and conducts classes in oils and watercolors. His work has appeared in several New American Gallery juried shows, and his painting "All's Quiet" was named "Best in Show" for the Gallery's "Watercolors from the Garden State" exhibition in 2003. Tony Ventura Tony Ventura was born in Southampton LI, NY.Tony is also a signature member of Knickerbocker Artists and a Past-President of the New Jersey Water Color Society.Included among his more than 75 Awards are the Grumbacher Silver Medal, Windsor-Newton Purchase Award, 2 Silver Medals of Honor, and 3 A.W.S.
