Anthony C. Stout
Anthony C. Stout is the founder and managing director of Aeolus Partners.
After receiving a juris doctorate from Harvard Law School in 1964, he practiced law with Milbank, Tweed, Hadley and McCloy in New York City from 1965 to 1969.
In 1969, he founded and until 1986 was Chief Executive of the National Journal Group of companies in Washington, D.C., specializing in publication of non-partisan analytical information regarding government and politics in the United States.
In 1987, Mr. Stout founded and until 1998 was Chief Executive of Government Investment Management Corporation, a global special situations hedge and private equity investment fund, that was part of an $800 million alternative investment fund managed by Baker Nye Investments LP of New York.
In conjunction with his investment work at Government Investment Management Corporation, he became an adviser to government officials in Malaysia and the Philippines.
is a recipient of the Legion d'Honor for contribution to French Culture.
