Anthony Sheposh, chief executive officer for JBHS, said Lighthouse Haven was the direct result of a private and public partnership.
He said Jefferson Behavioral Health System recently had begun a collaboration with Trinity Health System, with offices now being housed at Trinity Medical Center East. He added JBHS serves 3,600 clients in Jefferson County. Sheposh noted those using the units will be able to focus on recovery, enabling them to "have a more enjoyable life. Sheposh said there is no shortage of need, but the apartments will be affordable and give patients stability when they most need it. "It was three years in the making, but well worth it," he said, adding his thanks to partners who made the project a reality. "We are proud to be part of the community," he said.
