for Alabama, was chosen as the 2007 Birmingham Business Journal's Best of the Bar for the White Collar Crime practice area.Joseph is the Chair of Maynard Cooper's white collar criminal defense practice group.Anthony Joseph graduated from Vanderbilt University with a B.S. in 1975 and then received a M.C.P. from Howard University in 1977.Mr. Joseph received his law degree from Cumberland School of Law in 1980, and then graduated from the FBI Academy in Quantico, Virginia in 1983.He is currently president of the Birmingham Bar Association.Joseph is also Chair-Elect for the 15,000-member Criminal Justice Section of the American Bar Association, and is a member of its White Collar Crime Committee.Mr. Joseph is a member of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, Executive Committee member and past Vice President of the Alabama State Bar Association, an Alabama State Bar Commissioner, an Adjunct Professor at the Cumberland School of Law, a member of Birmingham Inns of Court and the Magic City Bar Association, a Legal Aid Trustee and Former President of the Legal Aid Society.
