Anthony R. Aaberg graduated from Northwestern University and from Georgetown University Law Center, where he was Editor of the Georgetown Law Journal and graduated magna cum laude.He is a past Chair of the Real Estate Taxation Committee of the Chicago Bar Association and has spoken at seminars regarding real estate tax sales and tax deed proceedings and regarding Section 1031 tax-deferred exchanges.He is past President of Project LEAP, a nonpartisan election reform organization, and a recipient of the Distinguished Service Award of Chicago Volunteer Legal Services Foundation.He has been appointed to several blue ribbon committees by the Chief Judge of the Circuit Court of Cook County and by the Cook County Clerk.His practice is concentrated in the organization, acquisition, representation and sale of businesses; commercial and residential real estate transactions; and real estate taxation, tax sale and tax deed matters. -at- ,,,,,,,,,,,,.,,, graduated from Brandeis University cum laude and from Boston University School of Law.He served as an Assistant Illinois Appellate Defender and as an Assistant Cook County Public Defender.He has been in private practice since 1985, concentrating in business, commercial, real estate and probate litigation; real estate transactions; estate planning and probate; and representation of corporations, partnerships and medical and health care professionals.He is a member of the National Health Lawyers Association.
