A NEW set of officers of the influential Philippine Military Academy Alumni Association, Inc. or PMAAAI, led by retired Police Deputy Director General Anselmo S. Avenido Jr. of PMA Class 1967 will assume their posts effective today
Avenido, a former PNP deputy chief for administration who went on to become a Director General of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency was elected as Chairman of the Board of the PMAAAI for 2016-2017.

SEVEN more suspected drug traffickers on the watch list of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency were arrested in separate buy-bust operations which resulted in the seizure of P100,000 worth of shabu last Wednesday, PDEA chairman Anselmo S. Avenido Jr. said yesterday.
